Three reasons Stoke City will bring Manchester United’s winning run to an end
Manchester United will look to continue their perfect start to the Premier League season when they face Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium in one of the stand-out fixtures of the weekend on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils are the only side that still hold a 100% record after the first three fixtures of the campaign, while they have also scored 10 goals during that period and are yet to concede.
Those convincing wins came against West Ham United, Swansea City and Leicester City, with summer signing Romelu Lukaku on target three times so far as Jose Mourinho’s men look to challenge for the league title.
However, it may not be plain sailing for them against a Stoke side that have bounced back from an opening day 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park by beating Arsenal by the same scoreline at the Britannia Stadium, before drawing 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns last time out.
