Three reasons Tottenham must sign Karim Bellarabi this summer

According to a summer transfer round-up in German publication Bild, Tottenham are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen forward Karim Bellarabi this summer.

As well as keeping hold of his key players such as Toby Alderwiereld, Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to strengthen his squad this summer in order to ensure that they are contenders to win the Premier League title next season.

One of the areas he will be playing particularly close attention to is in attack, where Moussa Sissoko and Vincent Janssen have failed to impress after moving to White Hart Lane last summer.

The link to Bellarabi – who is also said to be a target for arch-rivals Arsenal according to the report – suggests that the Argentine boss knows where he needs to improve his side, who will also once again be competing in the group stages of the Champions League. Bellarabi is valued at £18.7m by transfermarkt.com.
