Three reasons Walter Mazzarri would be a great Ronald Koeman replacement

According to reports in The Sun, Everton are looking already looking at potential replacements for under-fire manager Ronald Koeman with former Watford boss Walter Mazzarri one that they have sounded out about the position.

The pressure is building on the Dutchman after the Merseyside outfit lost four of their opening seven Premier League fixtures of the season, as well as taking just one point from six available in the Europa League, despite a huge summer of spending.

Mazzarri has been without a job since he was sacked by the Hornets towards the end of the previous campaign, and the fact that they finished in 17th following a poor end to the season won’t exactly excite Everton supporters.

However, the Italian has enjoyed success prior to his reign at Vicarage Road and while he may not be able to speak great English right now, neither could Mauricio Pochettino when he took over at Southampton, and look at him now.
