Three reasons West Ham should steer clear of Julian Nagelsmann

According to reports in the Daily Express, West Ham United want Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann to potentially replace the under-fire Slaven Bilic at the London Stadium.

The Croatian is under huge pressure following the 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday night and the generally disappointing start to the campaign, which has left the club in 16th position in the table with two wins from their opening nine Premier League fixtures this term.

The Daily Express says that the board have intensified their search for Bilic’s successor and they have identified Nagelsmann, who is rated as one of the top young coaches in European football, as their preferred target although no formal approach has yet been made.

While the 30-year-old would look to be a good choice on paper, he isn’t the right man for the Irons right now.
