West Ham United play host to arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur in what is a huge Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Friday night.

The Hammers have endured a disappointing campaign and they currently lie in 15th position following a run of three consecutive draws, but they aren’t yet completely safe from relegation as they lie seven points above 18th-placed Swansea City.

However, not only do Slaven Bilic’s men know that they will break the magic 40-point mark with a win against Spurs, they will also leap up to ninth position such is the closeness of this season’s top flight table.

It won’t be an easy task against Mauricio Pochettino’s side though, as they will look to close the gap on leaders Chelsea to just one point with a victory.

The visitors certainly have a number of impressive individuals that could be potential targets for Bilic as he looks to strengthen his squad at the end of the season.

Here are three Tottenham players West Ham should look to sign this summer…

Kevin Wimmer

With the likes of Angelo Ogbonna, Winston Reid, James Collins and January transfer window addition Jose Fonte available to him, it is unclear whether Slaven Bilic will be looking to add a new centre-back to his squad during the summer.

If he does however, then he could do a lot worse than take a look at Spurs centre-back Kevin Wimmer, who has struggled to break into the first team following a move from Cologne in 2015.

However, the 24-year-old has impressed when he has started and he would certainly add something to the Irons backline.

Michel Vorm

With uncertainties over the futures of Adrian and Darren Randolph with both being dropped at different points throughout the campaign, one of Slaven Bilic’s priorities this summer could be to sign a new goalkeeper.

One player he could take a closer look at if he is looking for an experienced Premier League stopper is Spurs number two Vorm, who could be looking for more regular first team football after making just 11 appearances in all competitions this season.

Kieran Trippier

One problem position that Bilic will be looking to strengthen this summer is at right-back/right wing-back following a number of issues throughout the current campaign.

Winger Michail Antonio often found himself deployed there earlier in the campaign but the Croatian boss will be looking for a natural fit there with Sam Byram still seemingly out of favour.

Despite impressing in recent weeks for Tottenham, he is probably still second choice behind Kyle Walker and he could be looking for more regular first team football next term – something that would be on offer at the London Stadium.
