Three ways Hamilton could produce a massive upset v Rangers
Another weekend of Scottish Cup action is upon us and for Rangers it’s a chance to escape the pressures of Scottish Premiership football and book their place in a massive Hampden semi-final.
The semi-finals of the competition are shaping up quite nicely, especially if the favourites in each of this weekend’s match-ups make it through. Aberdeen, Hibs, Rangers and Celtic have all avoided each other and if all four win this weekend then those Hampden occasions are going to be massive no matter how the draw shakes out.
Hamilton don’t care all about that though. They will see Saturday’s match as a chance to take a step closer to their first major final since 1935. It’s a tough ask to go to Ibrox and win but given the recent troubles of the Gers, it’s a winnable tie or at least one they can take back to New Douglas Park in a replay.
