Three West Ham players who can effectively replace injured trio in the starting XI

West Ham United suffered yet another disappointing defeat at the London Stadium on Saturday as they were beaten 3-2 by Premier League holders Leicester City, and the result came at an extra cost too.

The Hammers lost key trio Winston Reid, Pedro Obiang and Michail Antonio – the club’s top goalscorer this season – to injury against the Foxes to give manager Slaven Bilic a selection dilemma for their upcoming matches.

According to owner David Sullivan’s son, Jack, on Twitter, Obiang has been ruled out until the end of the season, Reid could be missing for 4-6 weeks and Antonio 3-4 weeks.

It will be a major blow for Bilic – who is coming under pressure following the side’s form this season – with the trio becoming three of his key players this term.

However, it obviously gives an opportunity for individuals to step in and make a difference in the Premier League run-in.
