England fans think Oxlade-Chamberlain was heavily missed during World Cup campaign

The autopsy has began on England’s World Cup campaign, which ended on Wednesday night as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Croatia in extra time.

Before the tournament, not many would have predicted that the Three Lions would have reached the semi-finals, and due to that fact, there has not been many complaints following the nation’s exit.

Some fans, though, believe that some players who were not included in the squad would have made a difference had they been involved.

Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, rated at £36m by Transfermarkt, was one of the members to miss out, not due to lack of form but rather for being unlucky.

The former Arsenal man suffered a serious knee injury in April, which ended his season for both club and country.
