If statistics chose the England squad
Gareth Southgate announced his England squad on Sunday, with two changes made since due to injury, but not everybody is impressed by his 25-man selection.
Indeed, despite some fantastic alternative English talents being on show in the Premier League this season, the Three Lions’ interim gaffer has stuck with the same old cronies who let the country down at Euro 2016 and struggled to overcome Malta and Slovenia, drawing with the latter outfit, during the last international break.

So without further ado, here’s the best possible England squad according to the statistics.
