Arsenal and Man United target keen on Spanish stay

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas has told Sky Sports that he will only leave Barcelona if he is forced out of the club.

The former Arsenal midfielder has been linked with a move back to the Premier League, with both the Gunners and Manchester United rumoured to be interested in the Spaniard.

And after the Catalan club recently signed Brazilian sensation Neymar, there have been even more questions over Fabregas’ future in Spain.

But the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 winner has been quick to reiterate his plans to stay with the La Liga champions next season.

“I have not opened my mouth once,” Fabregas told Onda Cero.

“It has taken a lot for me to get where I am and I am not thinking about throwing it all away for nothing.

“If they (Barcelona) said that they didn’t want me that would be another thing, what I really want is to triumph at Barca, that has been my dream since I was small.

“The important thing in life is to accept the good and also bad moments when they happen.

“I only want to play. Barca is my home, I have always dreamed of triumphing here.

Fabregas scored 11 goals for Barcelona last season, as the club won the league title with 100 points.

Would you like to see Fabregas back in the Premier League? Or should he stay with Barcelona?
