Barcelona are finally getting back to their brilliant best, or at least, it seems that they are on the right way towards it at the very least.

In fact, we've seen them tally impressive victories over the course of their last four games across all competitions, suggesting Ernesto Valverde is finally getting the Blaugrana to dance to his tune.

But even though that should be great news to all Cules around the globe, everything we've seen so far can and should be improved on.

The Catalans have been successful but their early hiccups in the campaign do serve as a warning that not everything is perfect at the Camp Nou.

And that's even more reason to rejoice in the return of Jordi Alba, their pacy left-back who had to miss four games due to a hamstring injury he sustained back in mid-September.

The 30-year-old was on the bench in the 4-0 demolition of Sevilla last weekend and it seems that the coach didn't want to risk him just yet. But with the international break in full effect at the moment, Alba should be getting enough rest to come back firing on all cylinders when Barcelona visit Eibar once La Liga returns to action.

And even with 30 years on his back, Alba is bound to bring back the spark Barcelona might've been missing throughout the ongoing 2019/20 campaign.

So far, the Spaniard has played in a total of four games and even managed to tally a goal on the way.

But that's hardly what the team expects from him.

Alba is very much known for his special connection with Lionel Messi, and with the Argentine wizard also back in the mix, the Blaugrana are bound to improve rapidly.

Ever since the duo became teammates back in the 2012/13 season, their relationship on the pitch has been growing constantly. Fast forward to the 2018/19 campaign and they have tallied 27 goal participations by assisting each other's strikes along the way.

Nine of those have come in the season prior to this one and Barcelona will undoubtedly be hoping that it continues into the 2019/20 campaign.

One thing is clear, however - with Alba back, Valverde will finally be able to finish his jigsaw and deploy his strongest lineup.

And once that happens, we can surely expect Barcelona to start improving even more noticeably.
