According to Le10Sport’s exclusive information, both Real Madrid and Barcelona contacted Lille at the end of the January transfer window regarding the services of Victor Osimhen and might do so again in the summer.
It seems that the 21-year-old is already starting to attract interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Le10Sport mention that the Catalans have been monitoring his situation for quite some time and even returned for the player during the winter transfer window, but Los Blancos did the very same thing as well.
With both La Liga giants registering heavy interest, the same source explains this is bound to continue in the summer.
But they are not nearly the only ones as all three of Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been credited with interest before and this could very well turn into a heated race.
Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have reasons to chase young Osimhen once the summer transfer window opens for business.
The kid has already bagged 15 goals and five assists across all competitions in 2019/20 and is looking like a really bright talent – one who is already emerging from his cocoon.
With both La Liga giants having ageing centre-forwards in Karim Benzema and Luis Suarez, Osimhen just might be the one to take over the mantle and become their striker once the time comes for the aforementioned duo to call it a day.
But if the registered interest from the Premier League trio also turns into something more concrete in the summer, landing the youngster’s signature might be easier said than done.
