According to some new information from Manchester Evening News, Paul Pogba has told his teammates he still wants out and they believe it's in the club's best interests to move him amid interest from Juventus and Real Madrid.

What's the word, then?

If MEN's report is anything to go by, Pogba's 'head is not currently at the club'.

The interest from both Real Madrid and Juventus is still very much alive but it remains to be seen what the Red Devils' stance will be on this potential sale in making.

MEN emphasise that the English outfit valued Pogba at £180m last summer but since he has technically entered the last 18 months of his contract and with his ankle injuries persisting, the Frenchman's re-sale value might diminish.

This, along with the dressing room opinion, could give some wind to Real Madrid's and Juventus' sails.

Verdict

It seems that Pogba's situation is still far from being resolved and the arrival of Bruno Fernandez at Old Trafford could very well play a role in his eventual departure from the club.

Seeing how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now acquired a high-quality midfielder who could potentially take over the Frenchman, Real Madrid and Juventus just might have a shot in this race.

It still remains to be seen, however, who comes out on top as both teams are still interested in his services. Zinedine Zidane has been a long-time admirer of the player and if he suddenly becomes available and affordable, he just might pull the trigger after all.

Los Blancos are currently flying high with the team playing well and enjoying the view from the top of La Liga.

But Pogba's arrival in the summer just might help them get to a completely different level altogether.

In other news, it seems that one of Real Madrid's heavily discussed stars will be staying at Santiago Bernabeu after all as his move to the Premier League is reportedly off the table...
