Ex-Man United boss aims parting shot

Ex-Man United boss David Moyes has claimed that he has joined the world’s best league after signing a deal with Real Sociedad in La Liga.

The Scottish manager claimed that he had turned down numerous offers from the Premier League, but a cynic would suggest that he couldn’t handle any more ‘BANTZ’, after a dismal time at Old Trafford.

Moyes fled the country to claim “This is the best league in the world, in my opinion.”

The 51-year-old will take charge of his first game versus Deportivo on 22 November, and he is seemingly raring to go.

“I see great morale amongst the players – last Sunday’s result against Atletico really lifted them. My job is to extract the best of them and make them competitive.

“I feel this job fits my character. It’s been a big decision for me and my family.”
