Sunderland closing in on talented Man United ace transfer (not Love or McNair)

Sunderland manager David Moyes is close to setting up a reunion with Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj, with reports from the Manchester Evening News claiming that a loan deal is on the agenda.

The Scot, who recently succeeded Sam Allardyce at the helm at the Stadium of Light, worked with the now 21-year-old winger during his time at the Red Devils, and is widely credited with giving him his breakthrough to the first-team set-up after handing him his full debut.

Januzaj responded with some excellent performances during the opening few months of the 2013/14 season and coincidentally scored a memorable volley away at Sunderland.

And reports claim that the two could reunite in the North East with a loan deal close.

Januzaj is believed to have been seeking a permanent transfer away from Old Trafford, but the Manchester giants are keen to keep him on their books and it’s hoped by all parties that a season of regular football will help him get his career back on track.

The skilful wide midfielder endured a difficult loan spell at Dortmund last term, which was cut short after he failed to settle in Germany.

As well as Januzaj, Sunderland are thought to be nearing deals for Man United defenders Donald Love and Paddy McNair.
