Loads of Sunderland fans have been reacting to the capture of Joel Lynch by calling for a different signing – American billionaire Michael Dell.
Last week, Black Cats fans were delirious as reports broke of a possible takeover from Dell and the MSD Partners group.
Dell is the founder and CEO of Dell technologies and has an estimated net worth of a whopping $30.6b, making him the 25th wealthiest person in the world, according to Forbes.
BBC report that Dell and his partners plan to take over the club from Stewart Donald, and fans have littered the announcement of the capture of Lynch with calls for the potential new owner.
Lynch, who most recently plied his trade for QPR, is a Wales international who is most comfortable at centre-back, but can also play on the left.
He has signed for Sunderland on a one-year deal, becoming the club’s sixth new arrival this summer.
Fans only care about one thing at the moment though, as you can see from the Twitter reactions down below…
