Sunderland fans devastated by Norwich defeat

Sunderland fans were left heartbroken yet again as their side just couldn’t hold on to secure three points at home on Tuesday night.

With just four games to go, Sunderland need to make up six points on Bolton if they are to avoid back to back relegations.

Chris Coleman’s side looked to have secured a precious three points on Tuesday night against Norwich, as George Honeyman made up for Aiden McGeady’s first half penalty miss by grabbing the opener.

Once again the Black Cats shot themselves in the foot though, as Ivo Pinto grabbed an 89th minute equaliser from a Norwich corner.

The late Norwich goal reeked of everything that’s been going wrong at the Stadium of Light this season. Not only do Chris Coleman’s side seem to concede either just before half time or right before full time every week, they have struggled massively to defend set pieces.

Supporters have been infuriated all season by the poor defending at corners, and an 89th minute goal from a corner to all but secure relegation has devastated fans.
