Lots of Sunderland fans have been giving their verdict on Tuesday’s 2-2 draw against Peterborough, and let’s just say there’s not a lot of love for Bryan Oviedo.
Sunderland kept themselves in the top six on Tuesday night in an enthralling draw against Peterborough.
Josh Maja grabbed his eighth goal of the season to put the home side ahead after just 20 minutes, but it wasn’t until the 68th minute that the match exploded into life.
Oviedo was shown a straight red for a moment of utter madness, kicking out at Marcus Maddison after a tussle on the left wing.
The visitors equalised just six minutes later, but a moment of sheer magic from Chris Maguire set up Jerome Sinclair to give the Black Cats another lead with ten minutes to go.

Peterborough answered once again though, finding the second equaliser in the 84th minute to keep themselves second in the table, four points ahead of Jack Ross’ side.
Oviedo has proved very popular on Wearside since his move from Everton, but fans are fuming at the 28 -year-old for his ridiculous loss of composure.

Cost us tonight! Genuinely don’t think we’ve played as well as that for so long though. Some of the football was fantastic! If we play like that every week we will go up comfortably!

I can’t help but feel he should be banned for more than 3 games. With Hume and James available at left back it might be time to make him 3rd choice and find a buyer in January. That’s what I’ll do on FIFA anyway #SAFC

What he was thinking I have no idea but with Hume injured not only had that cost us 3 points but leaves us short! Show us “the love” ?
