Billy Jones is clearly not going to be missed on Wearside, as Sunderland fans are bashing the defender as seals his move to Rotherham.
Rotherham have signed former Sunderland man Billy Jones on a two-year contract, after he was released by the Black Cats earlier this summer.
The 31 year-old is part of a mass exodus at the Stadium of Light this summer, as Stewart Donald and Jack Ross look to transform their squad for a League One promotion scrap.
Jones certainly had his moments, and the veteran defender never faltered on the effort front, but he simply wasn’t good enough, and fans are making that clear on Twitter.
The former England youth international swapped West Brom for Sunderland in 2014, and made nearly 100 league appearances for The Black Cats.
Fans have been delighted with their summer overhaul thus far, and while there is still plenty of work to do, it seems this is another exit they are very happy about.

Possibly the most immobile football I’ve ever seen. Ran like he was in pain.

Did you write that with a straight face?

Right up there with the worst I’ve seen.

We need new faces, new attitudes and he was pretty awful last year.

Absolutely no chance, without doubt one of the worst excuses of a RB I’ve ever seen!

You can tell how bad our players have been when we use “professional” as a compliment, it should be a requirement
