Tottenham Hotspur striker Kazaiah Sterling has been voted the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for January.
Before his move, he scored in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool and laid on an assist in the 1-1 draw with West Ham United.
He has netted a total of four goals in seven Premier League 2 outings thus far this season but has headed to the Black Cats in search of first-team football.
Check out the video below to see how Brazil fans reacted to being asked how Cristiano Ronaldo would perform for them in a hilarious prank by Pl>ymaker FC…
Indeed, Sterling has made just two senior appearances for Spurs. The first came in 2017, when he made a two-minute cameo in a Champions League win over APOEL Nicosia, and the second was in the recent FA Cup defeat to Crystal Palace, where he played nine minutes.
Sterling made his debut for Sunderland at the weekend, coming on as a substitute against AFC Wimbledon in a 1-0 win.
And Black Cats fans are excited by the prospect of Sterling helping them gain promotion this season after he was recognised by the Premier League.
On the face of it the recruitment team at #safc seem to know their stuff. Look forward to watching his development this season.
