Loads of Sunderland fans have been reflecting on yet another 1-1 draw, this time with Blackpool, and let’s just say more than a few are starting to lose patience with Jack Ross.
Sunderland are still the only side in England’s top four divisions to score in every league game this season, but they have managed more than one goal just once in the last six games, with four of those games ending 1-1.
That was exactly the case again on Tuesday night, as the Black Cats were forced to come from behind to rescue a point against Blackpool.
The visitors took the lead through Armand Gnanduillet, and if truth be told they were more than good value for their lead.
As has so often been the case in recent weeks, Ross’ side struggled to break the visitors down and rarely threatened Mark Howard’s goal.
The late equaliser came from a Jack Baldwin header, but Sunderland are now four points behind second-place Barnsley with only one game in hand on the Yorkshire outfit, meaning the Black Cats’ fate is no longer in their own hands.
You can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below, where fans are slamming Ross for what was a really underwhelming performance…
I don’t want to be publicly negative about performances, but can somebody tell me at which stage tonight did we play well?

I’m 100% behind jack but his reflection of the game worries me. We were rubbish tonight… No flow no urgency no end product.. we seem to have lost that early season momentum. Top 2 is slipping away from us, something needs to change

If he thinks we played well he knows even less than I thought he did, out of his depth

At what point did we play well ?we made Blackpool look half descent. Our bubble has burst, the honey moon is over, we are back to being rubbish…..

Was Jack Ross watching a different game to me, we were terrible against another poor side, at the moment I can’t see how we get out this league and if we do how we survive.

I don’t understand JR logic. We need too win games. Why play one up front? We need to start with 4-4-2. It starting to feel like Groundhog Day again. ?⚪️

Was I at a different game ?
It’s like watching us under Poyet all over again #Woeful

If you think that was good enough jack I think your out of your depth at our foortball club you need to get some urgency in our play and go at teams from start
