Sunderland skipper embarrassed by Chelsea mascot

Sunderland captain John O’Shea has never been the sharpest tool in the box. Having spent much of his 15-year Premier League career making headed clearances, it’s understandable that the former Manchester United defender has lost a few brain cells along the way.

But even so, you wouldn’t expect the 32 year-old Ireland international to find himself outsmarted and embarrassed by a child, yet that is exactly what happened as the Black Cats shook hands with Chelsea ahead of their Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge.

This cheeky Blues mascot pulled out a classic prank from the Novelty Handshakes 101 handbook, whilst egg and O’Shea’s face were firmly in alignment. Enjoy.
