Last week, Bradford City boss David Hopkin revealed that he was ‘quietly confident’ of being able to keep Jack Payne for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign.
Payne is currently on loan at Bradford from Huddersfield Town and has been in impressive form for the League One outfit this term.
Payne joined Huddersfield from Southend United in 2016 and made 28 appearances for the Terriers during the 2016-17 campaign.

The 24-year-old has since spent time out on loan with Oxford United and Blackburn Rovers, before joining Bradford last summer for the 2018-19 season.
Huddersfield are said to be considering recalling Payne this week before selling him on, with Championship clubs interested, according to The Sun.
With that in mind, we recently asked the Bradford fans whether they believed that their club could keep hold of Payne until the end of the season.
And 71% of those polled said that they were confident that the talented attacker would still be at Valley Parade by the end of the month.
