In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, former Leeds United midfielder, David Norris, has revealed that fans aren't yet worried about Marcelo Bielsa leaving, despite his contract being set to expire at the end of the season.

There have been reports claiming that the Leeds hierarchy are planning for life without Bielsa in case he decides time is up on his spell at Elland Road, with Massimiliano Allegri one name linked with the job.

Bielsa has received high praise throughout this season from pundits and managers, none more so than Pep Guardiola who appeared to not believe his luck when the Argentine praised him for his tactics and the way he is as a manager.

Speaking on why Leeds fans aren't worried about Bielsa leaving the club and how the Argentine loves being at Leeds, Norris exclusively told FFC:

"He seems to love it there so I don't think that fans are as worried as they would be about another manager because I think, if he's happy there, he'll stay.

"It's obviously not ideal, but I don't think it's at the top of the club's priority list and they won't be panicking that he is going to go."

After being appointed in 2018, Bielsa oversaw two seasons in the Championship with the first one seeing Leeds crash out of the playoffs, while the second was a title-winning campaign.

Leeds have managed to hold their own in recent weeks when they have played some of the big six clubs, having taken five points off Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.
