Jack Harrison has so often been the nearly man of Leeds United since he arrived several years ago.

The winger was enjoyed and used so much by Marcelo Bielsa and in some instances, it was clear to see why that was the case.

His touch can be up there with the very best in world football, while his work ethic is simply tremendous.

Indeed, Harrison ranks in the top 20% of wide players in Europe's big five leagues for pressures, tackles, blocks, clearances and interceptions over the last year.

Yet, going forward there has always been a sense that he could do more. Goals and assists come his way on a semi-regular basis. He did score ten times in all competitions last term, however, and it's evident he is now going from strength to strength under a manager he suits perfectly; Jesse Marsch.

A move away now seems far-fetched but it is an idea that's been flirted with this summer as Newcastle United eye a potential £40m move.

When you see what he did in the 29th minute today it's hardly a surprise that he's increasingly capturing the imagination. Harrison picked up the ball in a central area and then danced by Thiago Silva with a delicious turn. It's rare a player of his calibre gets left on the deck but that's exactly how the former Manchester City man left him; eating dust.

Elland Road was left in a frenzy as the fanbase screamed "Ole" before the wide man attempted a ball in behind.

The supporters inside the ground weren't the only ones to pick up on it, with Sky Sports co-commentator Adam Bate, noting during the game that "not many do that to Thiago Silva," as Harrison's technical ability left everyone in awe.

It was a moment of magic in a game that housed so many special passages of play for Leeds as they ran out 3-0 winners in a famous victory over Chelsea.

Harrison was one of the stars of the show and eventually got his goal too, seizing on a loose ball that Rodrigo couldn't control to prod the ball home on the stretch.

It capped off an excellent display from the England hopeful who also registered an assist during his 83 minutes on the field.

On top of that, the 25-year-old dazzled with his dribbling ability, completing 4/4 of his take-ons and winning five ground duels, per SofaScore.

It was the perfect display from the ex-New York City man as he now goes in search of adding even more consistency to his game.

Scoring against Chelsea and leaving one of the most pedigreed centre-backs of the modern game in his wake will certainly do him no harm.
