Presenter Joe Wainman has claimed that Jack Harrison had his worst performance for Leeds United in their defeat this weekend.

How bad was Jack Harrison for Leeds United?

Leeds rejected a £20m bid for Harrison late in the January window, but after eventually staying put at Elland Road, he is yet to justify the club's faith in his ability to deliver.

The Englishman was astonishingly bad against Everton, completing 46% of his passes, being dispossessed 24 times and winning just one of his eight duels before being substituted in the 86th minute, as per Sofascore.

Speaking on the JustJoe Football Show, Wainman expressed his frustration at what was a horror-show performance as Leeds fell to defeat in a crucial game.

He said: "Jack Harrison, oh my god. I will say it now, that is the worst performance Jack Harrison has ever put in for Leeds United.

"He couldn't hold the ball, he couldn't trap it. Why he continued to be allowed to take set pieces is beyond me. Why Skubala didn't take him off is beyond me."

Should Leeds United have sold Harrison?

Harrison has scored just one league goal this season, which came against Chelsea in August, while he has provided just one assist since the World Cup break.

If Leeds were offered the £20m by Leicester City before Harrison's failed move earlier in the window, the 26-year-old may well have departed. However, the lateness of the bid and a long-term injury to Rodrigo meant the club could not afford to lose another key player and pulled the plug at the 11th hour.

Had they been able to sign a replacement, he may not have been missed given his poor form, and it now looks unlikely that they will receive another offer of that size should they wish to sell him in the summer, despite him signing a new deal after Leicester's bid.

Leeds are in real danger of relegation, and we think they will need senior players like Harrison to drastically improve if they are to survive in the Premier League.
