Journalist Beren Cross has claimed that Leeds United winger Jack Harrison screamed at teammate Sam Greenwood after the midfielder failed to pass him the ball.

What’s the word?

On Saturday lunchtime, the Whites cruised into the next round of the FA Cup as they beat Accrington Stanley 3-1 away from home.

Harrison actually opened the scoring before strikes from Junior Firpo and Luis Sinisterra sealed the win despite a late consultation from Leslie Adekoya.

Despite the comfortable victory, it seems as though not all the Leeds players were at ease throughout the game. Indeed, when reporting on the game for LeedsLive, Cross noted one incident really seemed to frustrate Harrison.

The journalist said: "Jack Harrison was having a very good day at Accrington. The winger knew he was on a flyer and he was craving the ball as often as possible. After an especially frustrating period for the deadlock breaker, he could be seen screaming at Sam Greenwood for a square pass in the 75th minute. Harrison couldn’t bottle up his frustration with yet another passage of play failing to reach him."

Bad blood?

Interestingly enough, Harrison has been linked with a move away from the Whites this week. As per, The Athletic, Premier League rivals Leicester City have made a £20m offer for the winger.

Perhaps the frustration caused by his teammates may convince the 26-year-old to get a move elsewhere – although that would be a little drastic if it's just this one isolated incident.

Harrison did at least enjoy a pretty good day out. After all, in the end, he was the third highest-rated player on the pitch and completed the game with a goal, an assist, two big chances created and three key passes (via SofaScore).

In comparison, Greenwood was the worst-performing Leeds player, with 64 per cent passing, one out of four crosses completed, gave away three fouls, while he also lost the ball 20 times.

With stats like that, it's little wonder his teammate got so annoyed.
