Leeds United head into Saturday's 15:00 kick-off against Southampton on the back of a hard-fought opening day victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, with Jesse Marsch undoubtedly hoping for his side to keep their 100% Premier League record intact following their trip to St. Mary's.

And, the 48-year-old has been handed a number of injury boosts throughout the week that would appear to increase the Whites' chances of doing so, with Luis Sinisterra being available after recovering from a pre-season hamstring injury, while both club captain Liam Cooper and central midfielder Adam Forshaw have also made a return to fitness.

Furthermore, Daniel James is also back in contention for a place in the side after completing his three-match ban for picking up a straight red in Leeds' 3-0 defeat to Chelsea during the run-in of the club's 2021/22 campaign.

So, will Marsch make any changes to the starting XI that secured their 2-1 victory over Wolves last weekend? Here's how we think Leeds could line up against Southampton...

While the aforementioned returns of Cooper, Forshaw, Sinisterra and James will come as a huge boost to Marsch and his side, considering just how impressive the Whites were in their victory at Elland Road last weekend, we only predict that one of these four players will come into the starting XI at St. Mary's.

This change comes in the back five, with the £35k-per-week Cooper - who Phil Hay dubbed the club's "most reliable centre-back" - coming in at the expense of the unfortunate-to-miss-out Robin Koch, while Illan Meslier, Pascal Struijk - who again starts at left-back in the continued absence of Junior Firpo - Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen retain their respective starting berths.

Tyler Adams and Marc Roca also keep their places in the middle of the park, while Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison also retain their spots in the XI - meaning the 23-year-old Sinisterra - who Nico Cantor labelled "crafty, quick and sneaky" - has to make to with a spot on the bench.

Patrick Bamford once again leads the line for Marsch's men, while the likes of Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville all wait in the wings for an opportunity to impress in attack.
