It's here. It's finally here. Leeds United back in the Premier League.

After a 16-year absence, the Yorkshire giants will do battle in the English top-flight once again and standing in their way in the season opener are the champions, Liverpool.

Marcelo Bielsa's side face a tough trip to Anfield, so what sort of side will he select this afternoon?

The Whites have lost loan star Ben White but have signed two new players. Here's what we are predicting...

As we know well, Bielsa very rarely tinkers his side so we can expect a 4-1-4-1 formation of sorts, meaning he could hand out just one debut in Merseyside.

Illan Meslier is set to be the number one between the sticks over Kiko Casilla after an impressive end to their Championship-winning campaign.

At left-back, Barry Douglas could be preferred to Stuart Dallas and Gjanni Alioski given his experience in the top-flight whilst new signing Robin Koch is surely going to partner skipper Liam Cooper in the middle with Luke Ayling on the right.

Kalvin Phillips will anchor the midfield with Mateusz Klich and veteran playmaker Pablo Hernandez playing slightly more advanced.

Out wide, Bielsa may continue with both Jack Harrison, who has renewed his loan for another year, and £7.2m-rated Helder Costa, meaning there's no place for Ian Poveda.

And in the attack, Patrick Bamford keeps his place over summer arrival Rodrigo for the time being. The Argentine could be loyal to his top goalscorer whilst the Spaniard gets up to speed with this system of football.

The likes of Tyler Roberts, Jamie Shackleton, Dallas and Alioski are all going to have to settle for the bench.
