Ligue 1 expert Adam White reckons that Liverpool would suit Kylian Mbappe would more than any of the other top-six clubs in the Premier League.
Despite a goalless European Championships, the 22-year-old has established himself as one of the most lethal forwards in European football recent seasons.
Mbappe scored an exceptional 42 goals and added 11 assists in all competitions for PSG last season, including a stunning Champions League hat-trick away to Barcelona.
But the 22-year-old superstar’s future in the French capital is in major doubt having been unable to agree a new contract, leaving him in serious danger of leaving for free next summer.
And therefore, the £160m-rated attacker is constantly being linked away from PSG, although it would take a huge offer to prize him away despite having just one-year left.
Real Madrid have shown a keen interest, but according to the Mirror, Jurgen Klopp’s men have entered the race and are seen as one of the leading contenders to sign the Frenchman.
And Get French Football News’ White thinks that should he move to England, Merseyside would make most sense.
He told Football FanCast:
“He’s not a winger, he’s not a number nine, he needs to be playing that inside forward. He was best at Monaco in a two with Falcao.
“Where is he going to play that off the left inside forward or part of a two, I would argue that’s probably Liverpool. Given the way their front-three works, their wider men play that inside role. Liverpool would make most sense.”
