Jan Aage Fjortoft has made a claim about Jadon Sancho on Twitter that will have captured the attention of both Liverpool and Manchester United supporters.
He has stated that it will take a fee of €130m (£119m) to prise him away from Bundesliga high-flyers Borussia Dortmund during the summer.
It is also suggested that Liverpool is the most likely destination for the 20-year-old, though they would need to sell either Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane to bring him in.
Considering Real Madrid are showing interest in Mane, as reported by The Mirror, it seems as though the Senegal international would be the likely candidate to leave – if it comes to it.
It is also suggested that Man United are working hard to lure him to Old Trafford during the transfer window.
Despite all of this, Dortmund are still maintaining hope that they will be able to keep hold of the winger.
This all comes in what has been a tremendous season for him so far on a personal level, as the former Man City academy star has 14 goals and 15 assists from just 21 Bundesliga starts and two substitute appearances.
Fjortoft’s original tweet can be seen below:
Price: 130 million euro
Man UTD working very hard to get him.
Liverpool still most likely destination. But have to sell either Mane or Salah.
New is that Dortmund see this stop of the season as a chance to keep him another season.
