Jose Enrique has named a best XI of players that he shared the pitch with during his time at Liverpool on his Instagram page.

The Spaniard, who is now 34 years old and retired, represented the Reds a total of 99 times, scoring two goals and adding a further 10 assists.

This came after he signed from Newcastle United in 2011, before leaving as a free agent in 2016, eventually going to Real Zaragoza.

His time in red will have seen him play with some very talented footballers, and that is reflected in his lineup, as club legend Steven Gerrard and current Barcelona man Luis Suarez feature.

It says a lot about how far the club has moved on that Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino are the ones still playing for them who have been included.

Lucas Leiva, who is now playing for Lazio, was visibly pleased to be included by his former teammate, as he left a comment.
