With the latest international break now out of the way, Liverpool are back in Premier League action this weekend with a home clash against Arsenal on Saturday evening.

Despite having the likes of Naby Keita, James Milner, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez and Roberto Firmino out with injuries, the Merseyside club have one silver lining on the injury front which will please a lot of Reds fans.

What's the news?

It has been revealed that Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has been declared fit enough to play against the north Londoners despite bruising a rib whilst away with Senegal on international duty.

Given how the 29-year-old has racked up a total of eight goals in 15 appearances for the Reds across all competitions so far this season, it shows how big a boost it is to have him fit for the visit of the Gunners, and Klopp will be buzzing to be able to select him given the other injury issues around Anfield.

In addition to his impressive goal tally, Mane has proven himself to be a dangerous attacking threat for Klopp's side in the league this season, with an average of 3.4 shots and 1.2 key passes per game. That could make him a real danger for Arsenal's defence, which has only conceded one goal in their three previous league games.

Since joining the Merseyside club back in the 2016 summer transfer window from Southampton in a deal worth a reported fee of £34m, the 29-year-old - who is currently valued at £76.5m according to Transfermarkt - has made a total of 233 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions. He has scored 105 goals and provided 43 assists in the process, highlighting just how important he has been for the Reds over the years.

Amid the spate of injuries on Merseyside at the moment, it will come as a huge boost to Klopp and the Reds that at least Mane will be fit enough to take on the in-form Gunners, who would go above their opponents in the table if they leave Anfield with all three points on Saturday evening.
