Liverpool managed to keep their unbeaten streak in the Premier League going in some style with a 5-0 demolition of Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

A hat-trick from Roberto Firmino and a goal each for Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah secured the comfortable win for Jurgen Klopp's side, keeping them firmly around the top of the Premier League table.

Despite the Brazilian managing to score three of Liverpool's goals on the day in Claudio Ranieri's first game in charge of the Hornets, it was Salah who was once again the star of the show for the Reds.

As well as scoring a sublimely taken goal, Salah also managed to assist Mane's opening effort in the early minutes of the game with a total of two key passes throughout the match.

The Egyptian's dazzling abilities saw him complete three successful dribbles and rack up a passing accuracy percentage of 82%, ultimately earning himself a very impressive overall match rating of 8.6/10, the second-highest of any Liverpool player on the day according to SofaScore.

Salah, who was described as "phenomenal" by Klopp after the Watford clash, has now managed to score ten goals and provide four assists in ten appearances for the Reds across all competitions so far this season.

Outside of Liverpool, WhoScored currently have the winger listed as the highest-rated player in the Premier League so far this season with an overall rating of 8.21/10 for his performances, showing just how impressive he has been compared to other league players this season.

Moving forward, we feel that if Salah can keep scoring goals on a regular basis for Liverpool and putting in solid performances throughout the remainder of the season, he could well find himself winning some individual awards and possibly even securing a trophy for the Merseyside club this season.

Additionally, given how there has been some speculation over whether the winger will sign a new deal at Anfield when before his current contract runs out in 2023, we feel that Liverpool's board should be doing everything they can to keep Salah at the club for as long as they can. That's based on just how important he has been for the team in terms of the impressive number of goals he's scored since his arrival.
