Liverpool have signed three new players this summer with Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay joining the ranks at Anfield, and the squad have now set off for their pre-season tour of Thailand.
Although the Reds have made some fantastic first-team signings over the last month they have, however, let go of seven players already and Neco Williams is set to imminently become the eighth to leave Merseyside.
Jurgen Klopp has lost three key forwards so far with Sadio Mane, Taki Minamino and Divock Origi all making moves away, so there is an argument that Liverpool could take the opportunity to strengthen their already highly impressive forward line further.
One attacking player who has been linked with a move to Anfield ahead of next season is Serge Gnabry, who has made impressive strides playing for Bayern Munich.
The 26-year-old has scored 64 goals and contributed 40 assists for the Bundesliga giants since joining in 2017, with a goal contribution every 105 minutes proving that he has been an effective and reliable attacking threat, something he has continued over last season too.
Gnabry scored 14 goals, delivered five assists and created a whopping 17 big chances, making 1.4 key passes and tackles on average per game, winning the majority of his ground duels (51%) and successful in completing the majority of his dribble attempts too (61%) over 34 league appearances.
Not only that, the German winger made the second highest amount of key passes (77) in the Bundesliga and was the seventh highest scoring player in the league too.
The £34m Bayern Munich star has been the recipient of many compliments for his performances, with Robin van Persie lavishing praise on Gnabry for his performances at Bayern Munich claiming that he is a "joy to watch" in an interview with BT Sport.
Jurgen Klopp could even land his very own Neymar by signing Gnabry this summer, as the PSG star was the third most comparable player to the German international last season via FB Ref.
Although Neymar delivered more assists (6) and had a better shot-on-target accuracy (50%), Gnabry scored more goals (14), completed more passes (1070) and was successful in more pressures on opponents (147).
With that being said, the signing of Gnabry would be a major coup for Liverpool if they were able to offer the player a place in the team, however, it would be interesting to see how he would fit in the team with an already highly competitive forward line.
