Liverpool have been linked with Fenerbahce wonderkid Arda Guler recently and the Turkish youngster could form a superb partnership with Darwin Nunez at Anfield for years to come.

Reports in Turkey have linked Liverpool and Arsenal with the 17-year-old in recent days, although it will seemingly cost the Reds £25m if they want to sign him this summer.

Guler, who has already been dubbed the next Mesut Ozil, has reportedly been subject to bids from Liverpool, Arsenal and Lyon, after establishing himself as a first-team player for the Yellow Canaries last season.

In just over 300 minutes of first-team action for Fenerbahce, the teenager has contributed an impressive three goals and five assists, so it is easy to see why he is attracting so much interest this summer.

If he lives up to his reputation and goes on to have a career similar to Ozil, who starred for Real Madrid and Arsenal before moving to Turkey, then Liverpool would be foolish to miss out on him.

Should he make the move to Anfield this summer, it is unlikely that he would be a regular in Jurgen Klopp's side immediately, but the German manager has already given first-team chances to the likes of Harvey Elliot and Kaide Gordon in recent years, so Guler could quickly establish himself as a senior player.

If he does, then he could link up well with Liverpool's new marquee striker Darwin Nunez, as his creativity could create a lot of chances for the Uruguayan striker.

As Nunez has only just turned 23, he and Guler could feasibly play in the same Liverpool side for the next ten years, in which time they could form a devastating partnership in the Reds' attack.

Although £25m represents a significant outlay for a 17-year-old, his performances for Fenerbahce so far have been very eye-catching, and the opportunity to have an Ozil-esque player at Anfield for the considerable future is one that Liverpool must not turn down.
