In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Steve Howey, who played 99 times for Manchester City, believes Aaron Ramsey is good enough to play for the Champions to be.

Ramsey has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer with the likes of West Ham and Wolves reportedly interested in the Welsh international, who is set to be available for £10-15 million.

The £400,000 per week midfielder joined the Serie A giants in 2019 after leaving Arsenal on a free transfer after he didn't fit into former boss, Unai Emery's plans.

Speaking on how good of a player Ramsey is and how he would fit straight into City's team, Howey told FFC:

"I think he's good enough to fit into most teams. He could even fit into Manchester City's team because he's that good and you saw him play that kind of football at Arsenal.

"It doesn't seem to have worked for him at Juventus so it's probably best. I'm not sure if he's homesick, his family might not have settled or he might just feel as though he doesn't fit in."

Since joining Juventus, Ramsey has won two trophies, firstly the Serie A title last season and earlier this campaign he helped the Old Lady lift the Italian Super Cup.

With his starts being limited under Andrea Pirlo this season and Pavel Nedved confirming the Italian will be staying on as manager, it may be time for a return home to the United Kingdom for Ramsey.
