Manchester City have had a rather busy and exciting summer transfer window so far in terms of the players who have made moves to the Etihad Stadium.

In addition to bringing in Kalvin Phillips and Stefan Ortega, along with seeing Julian Alvarez arrive after the club secured a deal for him in January, the Premier League champions also signed one of Europe's biggest young talents in the shape of Erling Haaland.

Having scored 134 goals in 165 combined appearances for Borussia Dortmund, Red Bull Salzburg and Molde, the striker arrives at the Etihad with a lot of hype.

Another one of Europe's top talents who was previously linked with a summer move from one big club to another is Kylian Mbappe, who almost joined Real Madrid before a mega contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain convinced him to stay in France.

With 170 goals to his name in 216 appearances for PSG, it's safe to say that the 23-year-old can be considered one of the most exciting and deadly players in football right now.

While City have already been busy in the transfer market this summer, there's still time left for them to add some more players to their ranks before the window closes.

One name who has been mentioned with a £35m move to Manchester and which could see the English champions get their hands on their own version of Mbappe is Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry.

In 171 appearances for the Bavarian giants, the 26-year-old has found the net 64 times and delivered 40 assists along the way, highlighting the attacking danger he carries in the same light as Mbappe. In fact, the France international tops a list of similar players to the German winger, according to Football Transfers.

Over 34 Bundesliga appearances last season, the attacker ended the campaign with 14 goals, five assists, 65 successful dribbles and 77 crosses delivered.

Hailed as a "fabulous" player by Owen Hargreaves, Gnabry certainly seems to have the attacking credentials to be a solid prospective addition to Pep Guardiola's squad.

Speaking of the City manager, given how his side ended their previous Premier League campaign with more goals scored (99) than any other team in the top flight, the Spaniard would surely love having a player like the Germany international at his disposal.

Bearing in mind how City have seen Gabriel Jesus swap the Etihad for the Emirates Stadium this summer by joining Arsenal, this could give someone like the Bayern star the chance to take his place in Guardiola's ranks.
