Manchester United play host to Premier League strugglers Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday in a clash between teams at the bottom end and the top end of the table.

This clash between top and bottom of the table sees the Red Devils head into the clash two points clear of Liverpool at the top of the division and in the fifth round of the FA Cup after a five-goal thriller on Sunday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Marcus Rashford remains a major doubt after he suffered an injury in the second half against Jurgen Klopp's side, which could see Anthony Martial earn a recall in his place.

Here is Football FanCast's predicted starting line-up for tonight's action, which sees Solskjaer make five changes to the thrilling 3-2 victory over Liverpool.

Maybe Dean Henderson could face his former club in a bizarre twist of fate, but it's more likely United's No.1 goalkeeper David de Gea will wear the gloves, having been trusted for most Premier League games so far this season.

With the Blades facing an uphill battle to avoid relegation at the end of this season, Solskjaer is set to ring several changes for the team to take on Chris Wilder's side.

It's the perfect opportunity to rest players like Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw, as it gives a chance to the likes of Alex Telles and Eric Bailly to stake a claim.

In midfield, Fred and Scott McTominay look set to resume their established partnership, although we wouldn't be surprised to see Nemanja Matic make an appearance at some point in the second half should United take the lead.

As we mentioned earlier, this game may come too soon for Rashford, which will see Martial take his place on the left-wing, with Bruno Fernandes coming back in to start in his favoured position as a central No.10.

This scenario would see new summer recruit Donny van de Beek forced to settle for a spot on the bench once again.
