Former Premier League striker Nigel Jemson believes that Manchester United should sell Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman has enjoyed a superb start to the season, particularly his performance against Leeds United on the first weekend of the season.

The United star laid on an astonishing four assists in the 5-1 win over Leeds United, and he also provided the assist for the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Southampton at St Mary’s.

He has been linked away from the club in recent months, with PSG seemingly registering an interest in signing him.

However, they have since signed Lionel Messi in one of the most astonishing transfers of the modern era.

That may have scotched any chance of Pogba moving to Paris, and Jemson does believe that the midfielder should be sold if United have the opportunity to move him on.

He does expect United to keep him, however, as they look to win the Premier League, after his brilliant start to the campaign.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, he said: “I’m one of those that think Man United should sell him.

“But I’m going to sound stupid now after his performance on Saturday, they’re going to want to keep him and have a big push to try to win the Premier League again.

“Manchester United have got a better chance of winning the Premier League with Paul Pogba than without him.”
