There is no doubt that Manchester United need to sign new players in the transfer window, and this is something Ralf Rangnick is already very vocal about as the upcoming transfer window draws closer.
Rangnick has given a small insight into his intentions for the upcoming transfer window, whilst not giving too much away on the plans ahead, the new Manchester United manager did hint that new additions will come to Old Trafford when he spoke to the press midweek;
“It’s still too early to speak about what might happen in the winter transfer window.
“If I look at the number of players we have, it’s still a big squad, we definitely do not have not enough players.”
The £63m-rated sensation has been the recipient of masses of praise from a large number of people in football, including Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, who called him “scary” on ITV after a notable performance for England:
“What he does on the pitch, the way he speaks off it, he’s playing week in, week out for a top club [Borussia Dortmund]. The potential in this kid is scary,” he commented.
Whilst being hailed “astonishing” by Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc;
“He already has astonishing quality with and without the ball, while he also has a strong mentality.”
Bellingham is, of course, in high demand and what he offers at just 18 years old is worth its weight in gold, meaning Manchester United must make a substantial offer to Borussia Dortmund to secure the signature of the teenager.
United’s midfield issues are well known with the likes of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes struggling to establish their best form when played in the same time. Thus, Rangnick will be looking to identify solutions within the squad as well as making the right signings to build a bright future for the club moving forward.
With Bellingham in tow, the Red Devils could not only solve an issue in their midfield but become unstoppable as their history has already proved the club is capable of achieving.
After all, he is an exceptional young footballer, a player who’s claimed eight assists this term, all while registering some phenomenal numbers in other facets. Throughout 2021/22 he has amassed 1.7 shots and 2.1 dribbles per game.
That second tally would place him right at the top of the tree for everyone in the United squad, emphasising what an astonishing and game-changing signing he could be for the 20-time English champions.
It won’t be easy to get a deal done with Bellingham, as Dortmund have repeatedly spoken out to warn other clubs that the teenager is not for sale, but if Rangnick could make the Bundesliga club an offer they can’t refuse, and tempt the youngster to the Premier League there’s no doubt that Manchester United have the resources to provide him with a successful future in his career.
