In the accompanying article, it is claimed that the gem has one year left on his deal at Villa Park and a host of clubs around Europe are eyeing him - including Premier League champions Manchester City and teams outside of England.

It has been reported that the midfielder could cost a fee in the region of £5m if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal with Steven Gerrard's side.

Newcastle's new superstar

By securing a deal to sign the dynamo from Villa, Newcastle can land a future star in the Premier League as he has shown immense potential in his short career so far.

The 18-year-old has already broken into Gerrard's first-team and made 12 appearances in the top-flight last term, registering one assist.

He made his breakthrough after scoring 13 goals and registering 13 assists in 54 appearances for the club's U18 and U23s combined. The gem showcased his ability to make a big impact in the final third from a number eight role, which led to him making his Premier League bow in 2021/22.

Chukwuemeka has also made waves at international level with five goals in 11 caps for England at U19 level, scoring in the U19's European Championships final this summer as he helped his country to glory.

Talent scout Jacek Kulig recently dubbed him a "superstar in the making" and previously described him as a "special talent".

These comments, along with his impressive statistics, suggest that he is a player with a huge amount of potential to go on and be a big player in the game.

At the age of 18, he is in the infancy of his career and is already building valuable experience in the top-flight and at international level.

Newcastle can, therefore, bring him in as an investment for the future, as well as a squad option in the immediate term. He can be a player Eddie Howe develops over time and helps to become the superstar that he has been tipped to be in the years to come.
