Nottingham Forest will host Fulham when the Premier League returns to action tonight and Steve Cooper will be hoping for a reaction from his team following their defeat to Bournemouth.

The newly-promoted side have lost their last three league games conceding 11 goals in the process and after a 12-day break, the City Ground faithful will be wanting to see a much more positive outcome from the clash with Marco Silva's side this evening.

In terms of injuries, Steve Cooper has given an update on the current fitness issues and revealed a slight setback in Orel Mangala's recovery.

Cooper told the press (via Nottinghamshire Live):

“Orel did come back into training. But he’s had a bit of a setback.

“It’s nothing too major, but it’s just set him back a day or two. Apart from that, we are as we were.”

Moussa Niakhate and Omar Richards remain in recovery and won't be available for selection, although Richards is expected to return after the international break.

With all considered, this is how we expect Nottingham Forest to line-up against Fulham tonight...

We expect to see four changes to the team that lost 3-2 to Bournemouth earlier this month, with Cooper shaking up his team to inspire a better result tonight.

The first change we predict is Emmanuel Dennis coming in alongside Jesse Lingard and Brennan Johnson, leaving Morgan Gibbs-White on the bench.

Getting an early lead would be the perfect scenario for the Forest boss so deploying Dennis in the centre-forward position with Johnson could be the perfect opportunity for Cooper to form a creative and clinical strike partnership.

The second and third change we expect is the set-up in the centre of the pitch, with Lewis O'Brien and Remo Freuler replacing Ryan Yates and Cheikhou Kouyate in the starting eleven.

The fourth and final change will be in the defence with Cooper finally unleashing newly-signed Willy Boly to strengthen the back line and offer some much-needed Premier League experience alongside Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna meaning Steve Cook will sit on the bench.

The 31-year-old gem will likely be the player that makes way for the £46k-per-week defender, who was hailed "unique" by Joleon Lescott, and the manager will be hoping the decision pays off in front of the home supporters.

With that being said, Forest have a diverse squad mixed with quality and experience but Cooper is running out of time to find the right formula of players to take points from their Premier League games, so a shake-up of the team could be the right move for the Fulham clash.
