Caption Competition: All part of Gerrard’s master plan?

Manchester United’s hopes of winning the Premier League title now look incredibly slim and they are left relying on Chelsea to slip up at home to Wigan on the final day of the season. And who helped to put the title pretty much out of United’s reach? None other than Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard! His poor back pass at Anfield last weekend let in Didier Drogba to round Pepe Reina and score the first of Chelsea’s goals in their 2-0 win against The Reds. Frank Lampard duly notched the second and put the title within touching distance for Carlo Ancelotti’s men. Here’s Gerrard looking on as Chelsea celebrate, but is Stevie G rueing what he’s done or secretly smiling to himself? Leave your suggestions below…

Danny Baker charts the fortunes of one season in the the East London Sunday League Division 4 and its sister competition, the Dick Coppock Cup, in The Game, a cult TV series first aired more than 20 years ago on ITV. Now, some two decades later, those exploits are being made available on DVD for the first time ever in The Game, released by Revelation Films on May 24th 2010. Late tackles and skied clearances, mud and guts, own goals and gaffs, punch ups and even the odd moment of skill… This is real football, warts ‘n’ all. ‘Ave it!;5;-1;-1;35&sku=9984
