Caption Competition: All part of Gerrard’s master plan?

Manchester United’s hopes of winning the Premier League title now look incredibly slim and they are left relying on Chelsea to slip up at home to Wigan on the final day of the season. And who helped to put the title pretty much out of United’s reach? None other than Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard! WIN A COPY OF THE GAME WITH DANNY BAKER ON DVD

Danny Baker charts the fortunes of one season in the the East London Sunday League Division 4 and its sister competition, the Dick Coppock Cup, in The Game, a cult TV series first aired more than 20 years ago on ITV. Now, some two decades later, those exploits are being made available on DVD for the first time ever in The Game, released by Revelation Films on May 24th 2010. Late tackles and skied clearances, mud and guts, own goals and gaffs, punch ups and even the odd moment of skill… This is real football, warts ‘n’ all. ‘Ave it!
