Caption Competition: Campbell makes himself comfortable at Newcastle

Newcastle haven’t exactly splashed the cash this summer, as Mike Ashley has kept a tight rein on Chris Hughton’s spending, but the Magpies have brought in one high profile player. That has come in the form of former Tottenham, Arsenal and England defender Sol Campbell. Sol will add some experience to Newcastle’s back line and will be hoping to contribute to a fair few clean sheets in the 2010/11 Premier League season. Since joining Newcastle on a free transfer, a lot has been made in the media about the 35-year old being a little on the large side. Whether he’s fat or fit, he won’t be ready in time for Newcastle’s first match of the season against Manchester United at Old Trafford. Here’s Campbell watching a Newcastle friendly at St James’ Park that celebrated the management career of Sir Bobby Robson, but will this be the last time Sol is sat in the stands this season?
