Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to the side that beat Greenock Morton 3-0 in the SFA Cup last weekend for the huge Old Firm derby against arch-rivals Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday, and Bhoys fans have been quick to have their say on the selection.

Scott Bain has been handed his Celtic debut between the sticks with Dorus de Vries ruled out, while Dedryck Boyata and Callum McGregor come in for Marvin Compper and Scott Sinclair, with the latter on the substitutes' bench alongside Odsonne Edouard, who the fans were keen to see in the XI.

The visitors will know that they can stretch their advantage over their Glasgow neighbours in the table to nine points with a victory, while it could be cut to three if they slip up which would dent their hopes of winning the Scottish Premiership title.

Celtic supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on the Northern Irishman's selection, and while one said "not sure about this", another labelled it as "surprising".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction...
