Chelsea, Newcastle & West Ham to slice open opponents – Pizza Punter predicts

Rejoice, club football is back! Don’t get us wrong, we love international games, but domestic football affords us many, many, MANY more chances to win discounted pizza!

Yep, you heard us right, if the team YOU back scores two or more goals, Papa Johns will give you 50% off a pizza of your choice. All you have to do is sign up and wait for the ball to hit the back of the net a couple of times, which will see a tasty, discounted pizza hit your table.

We know not every team will be banging in the goals, so we here at FootballFanCast have gone to the trouble (we know, we’re lovely) of assessing who is likely to ease your gurgling belly…

Chelsea

It seems like every week we pick on poor old Aston Villa, so why buck the trend? All joking aside, the Villans’ defence resembles a colander, which is illustrated by their Premier League-high of two goals or more conceded in EIGHTEEN games this term. Chelsea, albeit they have little to play for, travel to the Midlands to take on the manager-less side on Saturday and boast more than enough firepower to heap yet more misery on the claret and blue outfit.

Newcastle

Relegation dogfights bring out the best in underperforming sides, and we’re sticking our neck to back Newcastle here. They take on Norwich in a ‘six-pointer’ at Carrow Road, but the Canaries’ defence has been breached two or more times on 16 occasions this season, and with two weeks of training time at his new side, we think Rafa Benitez will have got his message across now.

West Ham

West Ham have been terrific, while Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace have been in free-fall… we all know what will happen here. The Eagles have been leaking goals as they search for a first league win in 2016, while the Hammers have rattled two or more 16 times – the third-highest tally in the division.
