Chelsea’s Brazilian star lights up the Bridge; Twitter in awe

Willian has, by some distance, been Chelsea’s player of the season and the Brazilian attacking midfielder has torn Newcastle apart during the first half at Stamford Bridge. His electric turn of pace, killer ball and goal have proven just how good the former Shakhtar man is as the Blues have pulled the Magpies’ defence apart at will.

Twitter, particularly for those Blues’ fans, has been a rather joyous place as we see one of Brazil’s best players providing a masterclass.

Yes Mario, yes it really could!

Pedro even scored today… that’s how well its going lads. Chelsea fans can’t remember the last time they played this well, just let them have their moment… they’re still bottom half.

The free kick specialist doesn’t contribute often from open play but Diego Costa had Coloccini in a mess here.

Maybe a bit harsh, Lucas Leiva has been playing CB at times!

It wasn’t all down to Coloccini’s nightmare or Willian’s brilliance, mind, the second goal was just a sweet finish from Pedro.

The former Barca man could still regain his reputation with Blues fans, it seems.

Although I think this fan is a bit optimistic about Chelsea’s PSG prospects.

Fans are, rightfully, not all that optimistic about Newcastle’s defending in the remainder of this game..
