Going into the international break, it was all rosy at Chelsea. The Blues had taken three wins from three and were being talked about as serious title contenders alongside Manchester City and Manchester United.
However, a shock draw at Swansea has been followed by back-to-back losses at the hands of Liverpool and Arsenal. Defeats to big sides will never be a crisis, but the manner in which the Blues slumped in both matches, shipping five goals combined, has caused doubts springing into the minds of the Stamford Bridge faithful.
And while fans across the country are having a good laugh at the Londoners’ expense, it seems one of their own players is too! Loanee Patrick Bamford was caught out on Instagram after appearing to like two celebratory pictures from Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin.
A mistake? Possibly. A dig? Maybe. After all, Bamford has been shipped out on loan for the bulk of the past few seasons and currently finds himself farmed out to Burnley.
EEISHHH @Patrick_Bamford Can you explain this ?
