Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 32: Forecasting Good Fixtures

Welcome back internet! After a weekend of international football, we now must shift our focus to the English top flight action that will ensue in a few days time, especially if you have a Fantasy Premier League team.

With several clubs set for two games in Gameweek 34, many managers are now looking to their utility belt to bring out the various boosts given at the start of the season, with a majority still holding their second wildcard.

Timed perfectly, the wildcard with another chip later on can greatly boost your team’s mini league ranking, but it’s easier said than done due to the huge number of player permutations you can choose from.

So, as usual, to make your task easier, we at FootballFanCast will showcase the three clubs you should heavily consider choosing players from this week in preparation for future gameweeks.

Here are THREE CLUBS you should invest in ahead of Gameweek 32!

The announcement that Everton’s third double gameweek has been scheduled for Gameweek 33 makes the Toffees stars the number one priority heading into the next set of games, even if four of their next five clashes are away from Goodison Park.

Roberto Martinez’s men play Man United (Away) this weekend, followed by two DGW first with Watford (Away) and Crystal Palace (Away), before Southampton (Home) and Liverpool (Away).

Everton don’t have much trouble scoring this season, but their problems are at the back where they have shipped in 41 goals in their 29 games… which is only better than Bournemouth and the league’s bottom four clubs. Therefore plan to invest in their midfield and attack, most notably Romelu Lukaku (8.9), Ross Barkley (7.1), and Aaron Lennon (5.6), who is a decent differential.

Manchester City

Aguero 1

Oh Manchester City, thought of as champions-elect at the start of the season, the Sky Blues are now struggling to keep their feet in the top four, but they have a rather nice set of games to turn their poor form around.

The Citizens face Bournemouth (Away) and West Brom (Home) before their double gameweek against Chelsea (Away) and Newcastle (Away), then have a home clash with inconsistent Stoke City. Their double gameweek may not be the most enticing, but the fixtures around them are a huge opportunity for points with several of these clubs not having much to play for.

However, although Sergio Aguero (13.6) is almost a must, City will have one eye on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League early next month, meaning a few of their stars may be rested. Luckily, it will all conclude before the double gameweek.

Arsenal celebrate 2

Arsenal may be in a bit of a crisis in regards to another unlikely title win, but they have an incredible schedule ahead of them to finish of the season.

The Gunners play Watford (Home) and West Ham (Away) before a double gameweek against Crystal Palace (Home) and West Bromwich Albion (Home). Then after that, Arsene Wenger’s men play Sunderland (Away) and Norwich (Home).

Alexis Sanchez (10.8) has been extremely below par this season, while Mesut Ozil (9.7) has seemed to gone off the boil in recent matches. However, with nothing else left to play for than the league, investment in the Gunners will be paramount over the next couple of weeks. Their back-line should also be considered, with Hector Bellerin (6.3), Laurent Koscielny (6.2), and Nacho Monreal (5.8) all worthy of selection. Danny Welbeck (7.3) could also be worth a punt up front!
